They drink applejack at raves? He was the mayor of the old PSF and the new PSF. Gentlemen, (I use the term loosely), that owned a tobacco shop in Georgia. He's been on several forums since there have been forums. He has a YouTube channel that has a lot of fans.

Yowza. The crying shame -- well, one of them -- is he'll never taste it. Or smoke those Cohibas.

Icewater…. I would buy a cocktail with dinner but I am constantly undwrwhelmed with the drinks in chain restaurants. Ten to Twelve dollars and you wonder if they actually put alcohol in it.

Last of the Hillrock Estates Double Cask rye. This is one I won't restock at the asking price.

I typically ask the servers at happy hours…Do you have any drink specials? The common response is “ no we have not done so since covid” What the hell does that have to do with anything?

Planned on cracking this over Christmas with family, but everyone was busy, so I cracked it tonight. This is a very tasty ale, I will have to look for it next year, and put a few away in the cooler.

Laird's Applejack. There is not enough fruit in the to be called Apple Brandy but enough for a hint of flavor. I cannot afford Calvados so this has to do. A favorite of H.L. Mencken some years ago. I believe this label to be the oldest distillery in the USA. They used to produce a straight apple brandy bottled in bond but seldom seen here abouts. I have a mostly full bottle of that I bought because of raves by Ruffinogold. It's not very good to me. I have tried to use it up in cocktails, but I like it best in orange juice with a dash of grenadine. It's been at least 5 years since I looked at it. The 80 proof is a mix of grain alcohol and apple brandy about 4:1. However, their Bottled-in-Bond 100 proof is straight apple brandy and much better. It does need to be diluted slightly to savor neat. I have a few bottles coming here from an on line order. Like I mentioned, hard to find. They also offer an aged 100 per cent apple brandy, 7 years in a cask. I have been meaning to try it.

I've had several Macallans and I have been disappointed in all of them. This would just be a greater disappointment.
