Good afternoon all, enjoying another bowl of Atalaya this time in a Dunhill Prince. Like summer by the lake today. Jupiter photobombed this shot, he needs a haircut bad with the heat starting to arrive. Spent the morning cleaning up construction dust that is pretty much in every crevice of the house. Glad to take a break in the sun while we have it. Not long before I’m playing amateur chemist with the pool water.

Had a bowl of Friar's Bayou in the Wednesday cob while working in backyard paradise. Refilled with more of the same. And again.

Good Afternoon! It's 80°, breezy, with a hazy, partly cloudy sky, and sunshine. Smoking a bowl of four-year-old Peterson Flake from the cellar in the MM Mark Twain with a long Forever Stem. Time to clean some pipes.

Just finished my last little bit of Brebbia Balkan...strong stuff...makes my eyes and nose water. I'm getting closer to being a two baccy pony.

Good evening all, just about to finish up the current jar of Elizabethan, in the no-name bent pot, I'll most likely call it a night shortly after. Enjoy the rest of your evening friends.

Such a beautiful day here today, Savinelli 140th seemed like the perfect tobacco right now. I’m smoking it in an Ehrlich meerschaum.

Had another bowl of Friar's Bayou in the Wednesday cob while out and about. On the front porch now, with some Haunted Bookshop in a self-made Zulu.

After-dinner smoke time. Haunted Bookshop in the Friday cob. On the back porch with a beer.

I enjoyed my first pipe of the morning on the front porch. Haunted Coffeshop in my old Custombilt Rhodesian (another of my mixes, Haunted Bookshop, of course, with Peretti's Coffee blend. About 50/50.) These two blends work really nice together. It's a very comfotable morning in N. Georgia. Overcast and cool. Birds singing, radio playing quietly in the background, and only one car coming into the neighborhood the whole time I was out there. Weekdays are very enjoyable here. Not sure what I want to do today. Probably practice drawing lines with my new Lamy Safari before I actually try doing anything more serious with it. Hope everyone in the Patch has a wonderful day. Urbino, I love those pipes you posted. Both are stunning. Jonmc75, great picture of the sundog! Thanks! You sound like you enjoy blending your own about as well as Silver does.

Yes, I really like all three blends individually, but adding Coffee or HGL to Haunted Bookshop kind of mellows that bitter note and yet the HB kind of adds dimension to the other two blends. It really should be a "thing". The Haunted Coffee shop is my favorite though.

1/2022 first release of C&D Folklore in a Kaywoodie Saxon sandblasted panel billiard. Folklore is getting REALLY good aging. If you’ve been aging Folklore for 2.5 years, bust into it and crumble up a bowl. Make sure to let it air out for 20-30 minutes to breathe and open up.
Orange VA from 2019, Canadian bright from 2017, mahogany VA from 2017, and 2020 North Carolina red tips @ 13.53% sugar content, St. James Perique, lightly smoked Kentucky, and Kasturi leaf from 2015. The topping is mulled wine/spices but the Virginias really shine. Glad I bought a one pound brick each year because it’s becoming a favorite. Might buy 2 pounds the next time, if there is a next time.

I’m feeling the urge to shake up my selections recently, you have encouraged me to pull a chunk out.

I knew a few of you just had the Folklore sleeping in the cellar. It can take quite a few bowls in different pipes to get a handle on it and dial it in. Good stuff.

Good Thursday morning to all of the Patch. The Irish North West is cool and dry, expecting sunshine in the PM. I'm kicking off the day with some St. James Flake in the Sav 626 Primo Fumo #2, with a very large mug of fresh pressed coffee to pair. Hoping DHL come through today. 🙄 Hope you all have a great day ahead friends!

Good Morning! It's 56° with a cloudy sky here in the neighborhood. This afternoon I have to make a pet supply store run to stock up on cat food depending on how my back feels. Starting the smoking morning with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Don Carlos smooth bent Two Note and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Thanks, Urb, great smoker too, all my 626s are. And that's why they're Ireland's favourite pipe. 😎

Just lit up the last of the Wessex Brown VA Flake in the Don Carlos while sipping my coffee. Watching a 1947 crime movie with Victor Mature on YouTube.

Sleep well, Urb!
The coffee is extra strong this morning which is fine with me. I'm balancing that with some sweet, fruity Stonehaven from 2011 in a J. Everett Billiard. Have a great day everyone.
