Popped a can of Exhausted Rooster from 2019. First time trying it. I’m smoking it in a BC calabash.

Silver Strike Cake in the Saturday cob on the front porch. Just pulled a loaf of sourdough from the oven, cooling on the counter. The kitchen smells great.

olbluesmoke's thread about how many pipes we smoke from our collections got me feeling guilty. So, I'm having some Haunted Bookshop in a barrel shaped carved meerschaum.

Good Afternoon! It's 70° with a cloudy sky out here on the deck. This humidity is really making me ache like yesterday and I haven't been able to get much done. Currently smoking a bowl of fresh Scottish Flake in the Stanwell Silver Mount blasted billiard with a glass of cold water on the side. Enjoy your weekend everybody!

Sourdough seems so regional, having lived in the bay area for 20 years I was spoiled with locally made Sourdough bread and locally made Italian dry Salami. Whenever I have to travel to the Bay area, I always grab a few loaves… there is decent bread here advertised as sourdough, but it just is not the same. Francisco sliced sourdough is as good as it gets…and Costco does carry sliced Boudin so I am not in the breadesert with no hope.

2012 MM965 in my Scott Thile bent Egg. This pipe may not show up much in my smokes that I have time to post, but it’s one of my top ten favorite pipes.

We were with Sis and BIL tonight. Had a couple bowls (Paradoxical, Scottish Cake and Friar's Bayou Cake) in pipes that have been neglected. I'll finish the night with a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in the Saturday cob.

Good evening all. Time for some Saturday Night Strang in a Royalton Bent... A large sweet tea alongside... I didn’t realize that was a thing until I saw a post a few weeks back. Maybe I will join in in a couple weeks, (next Saturday is a pipe club meeting and I am pretty smoked out at night). When the Strang runs out for everyone it will be Saturday night Griever.

Good Sunday Morning! It's 64° with a cloudy sky and a rain shower is on the way here at first light. I managed to sleep in for a welcome change. This afternoon I really have to make the supermarket run that I've been postponing. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the BBB Freestyle smooth bent pot and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Good Morning Again! No change in the weather here right now. I just lit up a bowl of Peterson Flake in the BBB Freestyle while occasionally sipping my coffee. Time to check the headline news.

Spillman's Mixture in a big ole Kaywoodie freehand. A real handful of a pipe, with a rich, dark stain over 360 degrees of awesome ring-grain. The usual morning coffee sits nearby.

Happy Sunday morning, Orthodox Easter and Cinco de Mayo! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob and coffee on the front porch. It's 69, kinda humid and mostly cloudy here. We might get a little more rain today. We'll be going to son's place to celebrate his fiancée's birthday. In the meantime, just taking it easy.

Good Sunday morning all. I’ve been having a hard time carving out pipe time, but today I’ve just filled a Peterson billiard with my old stand by, Inns of Court. It’s a drizzly gray day here, going to start a bolognese sauce soon for tonight’s dinner. I hope you all have a good one!
