most probably already know that Nan passed around 5pm Tues, 2nd massive heart attack while prep for surgery. Much appreciation for the "bests" posted above. Got in full walks, no-band 5x50 for company. Her sons will be here sometime & start going thru a mountain of clutter over couple days After the Ed is fed, BB1938 in SerJac Rowlette "scoop" & continue with the papers, write couple checks while waiting for the boys to show Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY pipe/cigar since ??62 I'm so sorry Ed.

2016 Old Joe Krantz in a Mark Twain cob. Just finished another seed tray of tomato seed starts and got them on a heating mat. 144 started so far, about 50 more to go and then stage a second batch of Early Girl & Bush Champion II's in about two weeks. 30 varieties in total, 25 of them being ancient heirlooms and bolstering a large bumper of Bush Champion that are very early to fruit.
@ Ed I'm so sorry to hear this news. My condolences and hope you're managing.

Many know you better than I do, but if I can help in any way, I 'm just a PM away.

thanx again, Sil, Herb & all for the kind condolences. Her "boys" showed recently, just going here/there taking notes, so pics & getting organized. If one could come here & actually see it all, they would understand, it's massive sort out. They both IT guys, very organized & know enuf stay outa their way. So off the usual mid-afternoon...
Tea at desk, BB1938 in LaughingBacchus meer in smoking room. Nap next, then probably sups at Nan/me local diner (not fish frys till Fri)!
it's great comfort having all of ya "in my corner" all the time. If all goes acording to plan, will be at the chats later
Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY gots 'em, smokes 'em since '62

Don't think I've ever seen a Shell Briar that looks quite like that one. Maybe it's the strong sunlight. Hard to tell.
