Half & Half in a Yello-Bole Airograte. This pipe/tobacco combination was what my father smoked back in the 60's.

GH Broken Flake #7 in a Legend. I had a small bowl of Shandygaff earlier. If I squint and stand on tippy-toes I can sort of find a fleeting hint of ginger.

greets all & thx for the PM condolences. Didn't realize how tired really was for helping her boys with the clean-out. Walks later, some exercise indoors. Next smoke, Apertif in SerJac Maxima while at smoking room desk. When heading to UPS return & Target for "phone card", a 5x50 no-band for company.

Lancer's Slices sprinkled of some burley bits and pieces in the spill tray, in the Kristi freehand this morning, and now in the Old Dominion stack billiard. An exercise in " waste not want not " as I clean a few pipes today.

I've got 2016 Peter Stokkebye Luxury Twist Flake seasoned with 2016 Gawith Hoggarth Kendal Kentucky for something completely different. I've been finding that both the Luxury Navy and the Luxury Twist flakes with at least this much age taste good for the first quarter to about half bowl and then they just immediately tend to fall flat and sour. This mixture is intriguing and is tasting like mocha and caramel smokey nougat. The Luxury Twist has a caramel topping and the Kendal Kentucky is melding with it and making an almost smokey mocha characteristic to the profile and adding good body. I'm currently smoking this in a St. Regis pot (Comoy's).

most probably already know that Nan passed around 5pm Tues, 2nd massive heart attack while prep for surgery. Much appreciation for the "bests" posted above. Got in full walks, no-band 5x50 for company. Her sons will be here sometime & start going thru a mountain of clutter over couple days After the Ed is fed, BB1938 in SerJac Rowlette "scoop" & continue with the papers, write couple checks while waiting for the boys to show Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY pipe/cigar since ??62 After seeing your mention in the other thread, Ed I searched out your posts. On the road a lot, and I don’t read a lot of the ways posts. Sorry to hear of your loss, RIP Nan.

Hope all having a nice weekend so far. Morning doings long done. Coke Original at desk, Apertif in both cobs in smoking room
The boys just left with SUV full of whatever headed for couple dumpsters that are not padlocked. Recycle bin near full, can take it myself to our center, no extra cost. Still long way to getting this place done for old, single guy.
Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY gots 'em, smokes 'em since '62

The LTF mixed with a bit of Kendal Kentucky was a really impressive smoke. Just finishing the last bowl I mixed of this in a Leonessa Briosa slight bent rusticated apple.

Happy Saturday everyone! Hope all is well! Gosh, can’t believe how time is quickly getting ahead of me these days, and haven’t have anything significant to report. Same, same on my end: going to the office as much as possible, weekly lunch date with mom and rehab first Thursday of every month, curtesy of the VA. As for my pipe smoking, SG St. James Flake continue to be my go to smoke. Yes Pete, still having the occasional Grousemoor when I’m craving that bubble gum flavour! Stay healthy and stay safe!
