He is risen! Happy Easter! Just enjoyed a second try at Haunted Bookshop in a Charles Towne Cobbler. The cobbler was broken in last week with Half and Half. Now the second smoke in the cobbler was very pleasant with Haunted Bookshop. I always cringe when someone doesn’t like a blend initially and dumps the whole lot out. Sometimes, you give it a little time and it really delivers. Also, 9-12 month old and beyond aged Haunted Bookshop is entirely different than fresh. The recent batches of fresh Bookshop have had more noticeable sweet casing but just a half year or more and that all dissipates and settles away while the components marry very well. Agree completely on setting blends aside you don't initially find that great. I can't tell you how many times I smoke a few bowls of a new blend and don't think it's all that great, come back to it a year or more later and it's awesome.
I'm smoking more Habana Daydream in my Dagner Pipes Design MM poker cob. Just looked out the office window, and it's now snowing here.

People have different palates and sometimes don’t even like a finely executed blend with top notch tobacco.

Got all the "furniture" and half the deck powerwashed. I should be able to finish up tomorrow afternoon. Enjoying a half-bowl of Watch City's Old Black Magic in a Willmer pot. Drinking my last Corona Light. I suppose I need to make a grocery store run tomorrow.

Started the day with GH Kendal Dark since I was missing Gauloises Brunes again, even though it has been many, many years since I could get them. Kendal Dark is not the same, but it's close enough to satiate the desire.
Now I am smoking GH Ennerdale Flake in a Pioneer calabash that looks almost exactly like Zach's above.
