While out and about this afternoon and evening, I smoked a few bowls of Three Friars in the Thursday cob. At home now, with GH Best Brown #2 in a Savinelli Nonpareil 1/4 bent billiard.

Last.bowl of the evening with some Devils holiday in cob. When I first started smoking this earlier in the week I wasn’t sure if a heavy aromatic was for me but I figured I bought the tin I’m going to try smoking it. I find the berry topping to be very tasty to me and this will certainly be added into I want something different that’s not not a English or a vaper pile. Along with vanilla roll cake from macbaren I now have two aromatics I like.

As fruity toppings go, that one melds pretty well with the tobacco, I think.

Still up. Eight State Burley in the mossy cob. It's oddly comforting to me to know I'm not the only pipe smoker in metro-Detroit who keeps rather late hours. Still smoking Haunted Bookshop myself. I'm going to order more of this.

P.S. Burley 702 in a Savinelli Estella 606. The 606 is a wonderfully balanced shape, and the Estella's craggy finish makes for a really pleasing hand-feel; it's a combination that made this pipe my favorite pipe through most of the Nineteen-eighties. These days it spends too much time in the rack, but it's at work today, helping me enjoy my morning coffee.

Had some Haunted Bookshop in the Friday cob while to and from this little diner we recently discovered. Next up, Freehand Friday, part 2. 2014 PS-LBF in a recently acquired Savinelli Autograph. Two coins of LBF barely half fills the bowl.
