All of my friends who I only see in person at the Show. It’s been too long. Secondarily, aged tins of blends I like at decent prices and probably a pipe or two. I am always look at what Tom Eltang has brought both at the Danish Pipe Shop's table and at Smoking Pipes' table. I always look through the Savinellis at Laudisi's table, but they don’t bring many high grades to shows. ☹️ Unfortunately, I never seem to see anyone dealing in new Dunhills. Then I have my short list of favorite dealers and carvers to check out.
That said, other than enjoying fellowship with pipe friends old and new, I have nothing specific that I am looking for.

Wish I could join ya'll there. It'd be looking for tins of Aperitif honestly and would want to try some of the I.W. Reis blends if they place a booth.

Hope Springs Eternal that I will finally get offered a couple of pipes that I’ve been after for years! Just out of curiosity, which ones are you looking for? I'm always interested in which ones people are collecting. Thanks!

LoL, I'm very open with my wants! I always looking for unique Castello's in the shapes I collect, any Epoca, large Dunhill Collectors, tampers, point of sale displays and paper, really anything marked Castello or Dunhill. I always tell new guys to ask around about what they're looking for at a show. We're a pretty small world, if one guy doesn't know he probably knows someone who does.
I have many people who keep an eye out for me and I for them. I got a call from a buddy yesterday who was giddy that he's got something the owner described to him as a unsmoked "special edition" Epoca on the way from a huge collection that I've gotten some rare gems from before. I'm excited to see what he has but but I'll probably be broke by noon Thursday as usual.

I imagine that the first day of the show is done in a sprint, nailing down what offerings there are, deciding which ones to buy, etc… I bet Rogelio’s head will be on a swivel this time around. thebriarpatchforum.com/thread/3481/pipes-stolen-chicago-pipe-show
