Really not good your only a state away.. We already have 5. I better keep my wife from this one or I'm on a road trip for sure! Kidding of course, but for sure if I had about three dogs fewer I'd consider it. If we don't get a bite I'll meet you halfway. You'll take 1.5 of his dogs and give him this one? |

It started raining just after Sunset last night. Rained well into the night and this morning, Viola!, about two inches of very wet and heavy snow on ground and in the trees. Let us hope it is helping with the forest fires to the east of us!

Looks like she's staying the night. My son put out a towel for her and my wife made him put out a padded rug. I suggested that we go to Tractor Supply for a dog house and a chain link dog run. I got a really dirty look. She's watching the front door closely.

The Samsung Galaxy A12 I finally received is a bust. After charging the battery overnight, the phone will not stay on long enough to press one key of the sign-in. Samsung Customer Service knows nothing. Using my old phone, I called them. After three attempts to explain the problem and being disconnected twice, they decided I should mail it back to them. They would not even try to troubleshoot over the phone. It would be so nice if products worked when purchased and companies knew how to solve problems. Not any more, they want to send a replacement. It is like playing Roulette. Samsung will spin the wheel on another phone. LOL!  |

She'so danged sweet it hurts. And she's good too. Just as well. Those type of dogs scare me. They scare me too and we fear for our Yorkshire Terrier. But every one that I have had direct experience with has been very sweet. |

Just saw the news. I am crushed. Uvalde is a lovely town and the people are the best. The kids say yessir and nosir and we looked at homes there before we moved to NE Texas. The town is mostly Hispanic, salt of the Earth kind of people. May the Lord God comfort these parents.

Just saw the news. I am crushed. Uvalde is a lovely town and the people are the best. The kids say yessir and nosir and we looked at homes there before we moved to NE Texas. The town is mostly Hispanic, salt of the Earth kind of people. May the Lord God comfort these parents. I've been watching that on the news. My heart goes out to those people. Absolutely terrible. Sounds like the kind of place I'd love to live. It kills me to see so many people playing politics with this. Morals aren't what they used to be - in so many ways, at some many levels. |

I got a very nice surprise today. A new Zak! 64oz insulated water jug. I showed up this morning and got my stuff ready to buck behind the timber faller and he gave it too me. I really like the one he has. I have been trying to do my best and learn and help and not get my saw stuck too many times a day. Trying not to slow the faller down he is a few years younger than I am. He gave me a very nice gift. I am truly blessed!

We have a saying over here: It takes a Good Man with a gun to stop a Bad Man with a gun. If you want to kill kids you have forfeited your own right to live. The first decent day in a while. 68° and some time on the deck, puffing and enjoying a toddy, watching the green grow and proliferate. The leaves and buds on my black cherry are drooping and I fear the recent 24° ambushed it at a bad time. Time will tell.

Has anyone here had Covid? Woke up this morning with a sore throat and cough. No other symptoms. Golfed today and I’m a little tuckered out (which is normal for me). Thought maybe allergies? No other symptoms. Thoughts? And no, not interested in taking home test as I hear it’s not very accurate anyway.
