The stillness and darkness of the night brings out the best that a favourite briar and blend have to offer. With dinner behind me, and the concerns of the day having follow the sun to sink below the horizon, all that is left is to settle in with a pipe and my thoughts. My mind is free to swirl and slow-dance with the wisps of smoke that rise from the bowl, perfuming the air with a wonderful fragrance.
