Now smoking STG Drexel VIII in a post WW2 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 Bulldog with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink. Just did my annual duties as a member of the Bill Finger Award committee. Each year, we vote to honor two comic book writers, one living, one deceased, who did not get fair credit and attention for their body of work. In the case of deceased writers, many of them spent their careers with no published credits or recognition in their life times. The Bill Finger Award, named after the original, long time writer and co-creator of Batman, serves to remember those who deserve wider awareness of their contributions.

65F, windy, cloudy before sunrise with rain approaching today. Smoking 2012 Sam Gawith Full Virginia Flake in a smooth 2001 Peterson 999 with a P-lip stem and 9mm balsa filter, drinking Trader Joe's coffee and listening to NPR. Back to the VA this morning for a follow up to my annual check-up, then stopping at Lowes for tomato plants. Have some 2 1/2 gallon buckets on hand. Going to drill them in the bottom and try my hand at growing tomatoes upside down this year. There's always a local farmers' market if it's a bust.
