Scratched out a meager profit on the Keeneland card today, always a plus. Last smoke of the evening is Esoterica Penzance in a smooth 1/4 bent Altinok meerschaum bulldog with a 925 silver band and drinking ice tea with lemon before bed.

As a matter of fact, I am almost half way through this bowl of D&R VIP in a 2004 smooth long shank Canadian Trever Talbot Ligne Bretagne Faite en Bretagne 4/3 with a black vulcanite stem.

The last of this sample of Park Lane Connoisseur’s Flake in a brown sandblasted medium bend 1970s Savinelli Autograph 5 freehand with a black acrylic stem. This pipe has a big bowl, so I'll be kept busy for a while with it as I watch the Braves-Pirates game.

I've never had Escudo Navy De Luxe or Dunhill Navy Rolls.. I closed my eyes and picked a tin. Escudo in my Peterson Dublin Castle will be first up. Tomorrow will be the Dunhill. Let's see which camp I join! Well the Escudo was very good, but it gave me quite the nic hit! today was the Dunhill. With the same Peterson Dublin Castle, it was very good also. Not sure which way I'll go at this point. Gee I guess I'll have to smoke more of each. Hey someone has to take one for the team😁
