Had a few smokes with company tonight. Royal Yacht, Barking Road, Three Friars and Haunted Bookshop. Sunday cob, self-made slightly bent rusticated billiard and the self-made drunken, fluted cherrywood.

Murray's Three Year Matured Virginia That's a beauty, Duane. Thanks! Its one of my late buddy Bruce's pieces. He actually made the mortise out of a chunk of lapis on that one.

Sunday cob, self-made slightly bent rusticated billiard and the self-made drunken, fluted cherrywood. That sounds like the perfect group of tobaccos to get rid of any guests, unless they were also pipe smokers.

WC Slices in my favorite calabash after a very long day of stripping kitchen cabinets. Have you heard about that one being discontinued? That's just a wild rumor started by Earnie that people are taking seriously just because he owns the company. 😉

Another week is starting, with currently some rain and a whooping 60F here. While I am getting mentally ready to go for a jog, I'm starting my day with some Mumbo Jumbo Mixture (Ashton Winding Road, War Horse Bar & Green, Erinmore Flake, Peterson University Flake, SG Grousemoor and Golden Glow) in my 2022 Bruyère 4102. The breaking in process is going very smooth, as with all my Dunhill/White Spot pipes. Black Irish tea w/milk & sugar on the side. I have this feeling I'll have to upgrade to some coffee later, I seem to experience a caffeine deficit, this morning.

Coke at desk, too warm for tea. Apertif in LaughingBacchus meer in smoking room. Some cleaning done, time for snoozie soon then sups, usual routines.
82, clouding up, to 86, 80% rain due. Hope so, saves me any watering of the few flowery things still "alive"!

A few more bowls of the 2016 Rum Twist in the twist pipe. This stuff is perfection. The Virginia is so fermented it's black now and it's all dark fruit, dark real rum, and the full strength a flue cured Virginia should be. It's still as moist as it was six years ago but even stickier from the fermentation.
