2014 Hal o the Wind in a Molina. Ok so tell me, the tin just says red Virginia but tobacco reviews claims kentucky and perique. If it's in there it's super mild. Also, to me it seems lightly topped. My daughter and I swear the Tim note was candied fruit or peaches with grapes. Doesn't really translate to the taste. So is the current production the same blend or has the recipe changed? It's always had a touch of Kentucky and Perique.
[br
As the bowl progressed I did pick up faint hints of the kentucky at least.

To pick a nit here because a lot call and pronounce it "wind," It's "Hal O' The Whined" a wynd being a narrow passageway between houses, like an alleyway.
I'll edit the post, my phone has a bad habit of autocorrecting things and I don't catch it. Stew pid Otto Korrect. 😕

You definitely don't need to correct it, I just know a lot of folks think it's supposed to be pronounced wind.

Thanks! Will I see you in Columbus this weekend? Unfortunately not going to be able to make it this year, and I'm super bummed out about it. I just have too much going on here, bathroom being remodeled as we speak, etc. I will however try to make a trip up to Paul's shop pretty soon.

Bummer but on the bright side that leaves more tobacco deals for me. 😉

After-dinner smoke of Haunted Bookshop in the Thursday cob on the front porch as some showers roll through. Just enough to make it smell like wet dust.

Most seem to do fine on heavy surface oxidation but nothing for deep oxidation.
