Haunted Bookshop with a little Crooner sprinkled in, in a Pioneer calabash. Interesting. It adds just a touch of roundness and depth, I don’t know what other words to use to describe it, to the HB. Deer tongue is a wonderful plant. I like it occasionally for a change, but it’s not a life altering experience like switching from a set of 1980’s Realistic speakers to a pair of Tannoys I’m smoking Sutliff Barrel Aged No 4 in my favorite calabash right now.

Having some Old Gowrie in a Comoy's Pebble Grain prince I'm very fond of: Air purifier is running on its middle fan speed. I'll bump it down to low before I go to bed, and let it run all night.

I don't notice any left over odor, today. Maybe I figured this air purifier out. OTOH, I only smoked half the bowl.

I'm three bowls in so far today. Sterling's Bargain Blend, with a light dusting of Dunhill's E.M.P.. The pipes were my Kristi Freehand, the Savory Argyll pot, and my Mastro da'paja Dublin...all cleaned and put away. I've loaded a Nording freehand, and a Savinelli 707 with the same tobacco for the afternoon. the Bargain blend is very old and dark, and grown pungent with the flavors of good quality Virginias, a whisper of latakia, with enough blue or blackberry Cavendish to make this mouthwatering experience of what time can do. A tiny bit of E.M.P. adds an oriental tartness to the mix, and hold my interest enough to make this an all-day smoke, or at least untill my shipment from desolbones gets here this evening.

After dinner sample:
Presbyterian Reformation in a Molina. Tin note is excellent! It smells like I walked into a confectionery. I smell baked goods with fruits and mocha, like a mocha latte. Moisture is perfect. Flakes rub easily. Room note is fantastic but doesnt translate as much in taste. Lightly aromatic, not cloying or offensive. Done well.
