Last night's Old Black Magic started my Sunday, with the usual coffee, then out to the back porch with some burley from a jar with no name, and a Nording freehand.

How is that? It's been on my hit list for a while but never seems to be in stock. I like ennerdale, but hate grousemoor if that keys you into my lakeland likes Bosun Cut Plug is a bit unique in the Lakelands in that there isn’t as much of a mix of flavors in it, or if there is, it’s not apparent. It’s pretty much rose geranium and a touch of clove with fabulous dark fired tobaccos. It is a fairly strong, incredibly smooth smoke. My favorite of the GH blends, though I generally love them all. I'll chime in here in agreement. Boson Plug is a VaBur with flavor of rose geranium through and through.

Went to a local Greek festival today. Ate good food, had some beverages. Brought Haunted Bookshop and Three Friars along. Home now, Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob on the front porch. Starting to rain again.

Cracked open my first tin of Cornell and diehl Anthology with low expectations. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm not a big fan of cnd. There's a few that I like but most I don't. Without reading any reviews yet, my initial impressions of both tin note and taste is that this is strikingly similar to the most recent sun bear mountain flower. Not the same, the Turkish has been replaced with a sprinkle of perique. But the cut, moisture and topping are so similar. Some time in the cellar will be stellar and I'm glad I grabbed a few.

H&H Magnum Opus in my new Kaywoodie Connoisseur small Lovat. I had to ask Graywoodie to remind me what the Connoisseur line is. He said it’s Super Grain but with a contrast stain.
