Very nice. Looks a lot like my Peterson B10. Thanks msokeefe it is a great smoker as well as it looks! Thanks Silver, I too have a B10 Peterson, Killarney, and I find this lowly unknown name smokes better by far!

The whole family was together for dinner, tonight. We (son, son-in-law and me) sampled a variety of tobaccos, some of the usual, some new to us. Most notably was Condor Plug that son-in-law brought back from Ireland/Scotland. We didn't get the floral notes described in some reviews. Heavy on the DFK (I think), but it was a nice smoke. Also, had a little latakia (Morley's Best) in one of my Dunhills. Now, its time for Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob.

I’ve been curious to try the current iteration of Condor but not so curious to go through the expense of getting it. I have a small block left of the old production from around 2010. It seems to me it’s one of those overhyped due to rarity tobaccos, not saying it’s bad, I like it, but it’s not the best thing since sliced bread or the second coming despite how it is often talked about.

He picked up a plug out of curiosity, when they were in Scotland. It came packaged like a fun-size Snickers bar. It was better than expected. Not a life-changing experience. It was great that we were able to be together. Probably won't happen again for a couple months.

DGT'ing the rest of the Sweet Vanilla Honeydew from earlier. Quite a pleasant smoke. A light aromatic, I'd say. Burns nice and steady.

The older Condor plug and ready rubbed at least is floral and full of rose geranium much like Gawith's Coniston Plug. I've not tried a fairly new version, I think I last smoked a Condor pouch 6-7 years back.

I’ve been smoking Carter Hall in a cob today but the recent short discussion about Condor has had me pull out the GH Coniston Cut Plug, which I am now smoking in my favorite calabash.
