Finishing more Gawith Hoggarth sliced black twist in the same 1970 Dr Grabow Crown Duke apple. Hoggarth's black twist is more mellow and smooth as compared to Sam's Black XX. I like both but don't smoke them all that often. Next up, Gawith Hoggarth fresh Dark Flake Aromatic in my 2022 Peterson Halloween calabash.

Oak Alley in the Tuesday cob. I opened a tin from 2014, the inaugural year of that blend at the last pipe club meeting. Smoooth as silk and very tasty. As I drove home after the meeting, I wondered what the hell I was thinking when I gifted it to a lady pipe club smoker!😉 That… is a great smoke! |

Man, does the aromatic Dark Flake elevate it to a zen experience. The play of the maple/tonquin/licorice in the dark flake seems to make it a perfect match. I'm smoking another bowl now before bed. Actually, I woke back up to smoke more dark flake aromatic and then go back to bed! Viewers beware, I can vouch that this is the strongest nicotined aromatic tobacco on the market. This is stronger than brown twist and much stronger than Mac Baren Rustica flake for nicotine comparison.
And congratulations on the promotions!
