We had a dear friend take himself out 21 years ago today. It's always a day for reflection and contemplating existential questions. Much less painful than it used to be, though.

Ennerdale in a J. Everett. There was so much frost this morning that it looked like snow. The pup ran out, did her business, and got back to the door in the blink of an eye. She disappeared under the blankets until it was time for me to go to work

Set the jar of Wenceslaus above the fireplace, made sure the easy chair was in font of the fire, got the hot cocoa ready. Oh, and got the old meerschaum out. Going to be a quiet evening of pipe and Christmas music (classical instrumental, not singathona).

Hope all had a nice weekend. Full walks earlier, LaGloria Cubana SerieR 6x55 for company. After the Ed is fed, Peretti British in SerJac Maxima 1/8 bent bulldog & to the papers. Misc indoor activities for rest of the day.

ok 2 things. 1) I have to figure out how large a bulk order of WCC Persian Slipper I need to place. 2) a 7 day rotation of Pub Pipes is a real possibility The Pub pipes are like aquariums. The bigger the better. A 5 gallon aquarium isn't worth the trouble. |

I got a sample box of goodies from roadsdiverged today. I got home, ate dinner, and stuffed some 2019 Watch City Rhythm & Blues into an old Great Dane Egg bent cob and I'm finishing that now. Thanks again, Josh. |
