Had Watch City 558 in a Roswitha Anderson sandblasted apple on my drive to work this morning, got home and started another bowl of the same in the same pipe.

Good Afternoon Ladies and Gents! Haven't had much time of late to smoke a pipe much less post about one. Classes are out for the remainder of the year for me so I have a little free time now. As we come into the Christmas Season I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas incase I don't get the time to do so as we get closer. I'd like to share an incident that happened today... This is in no way a criticism of anyone other than myself. Several of the pastor group I belong to went out to lunch at a local fast food restaurant. As we were leaving we encountered a homeless man about 60 years old that asked if we knew where he might spend the night indoors. He has been living in a tent. The temps have got down into the 20's F overnight and will be going into the single digits in the next couple of nights. Well like any good American, I had no idea where to send him! This is an indictment of myself!! So I made several calls and found a place to take him. How many times do we look the other way instead of help out. When asked to help other than money do we have answers. So when I got home I made some more calls trying to educate myself about how to try to assist someone in need. Boy did I get an education. There is only ONE place that will take a man in town. Just ONE!! But, it gets better. That one place is the ONLY ONE IS A 5 COUNTY AREA!!!! If you are a woman, or a woman with children you can go to any number of places. But, a man. No! Looks like I have some work and soul searching to do.... What can we do for our fellow man to relieve some of their burden? 2015 Rattray's Winter Edition in a Stanwell Vario... Coffee alongside with a bit of Humble Pie to go with my thoughts...

2019 Peterson's Perfect Plug, shaved into a razor fine shag, and being smoked in a Falcon Hyperbole bowl on a straight Falcon stem. This is my first time ever trying Peterson's Perfect Plug, and had I realized that it was the exact same plug pressed by STG as Murray's Warrior Plug, and Murray's Yachstman Plug, I'd probably already have 20-30 tins in my cellar. Thanks again, roadsdiverged

It's a hard thing, especially if you have a family. So many homeless people are mentally ill. No way to run a background check. Every time I try to help someone it turns into a disaster. Good luck. The thing to do is to get together with the other churchs and set up a temporary shelter. At our old church we had the Society of St Stephen, which had a fund to help families in emergencies.

When I lived in California, I supported a rescue mission through monthly donations as I knew the man running it was solid. He had specific requirements of people looking for shelter, nothing onerous, he just did not want people freeloading without any type of accountability. I handed out his cards to some, and it was instantly obvious that they wanted no part of it. Good for you wanting to help your fellow man though…. One never knows what put them in the place they are… therefore but by the grace..

To Ron’s point… over the years, we saw it many times people tapping into the charity of the season to tug at the heartstrings of church members. A woman with kids pulled off an academy award experience, a police detective in the church did a background check.

I've been working on the same bowl of FVF since this morning. My cold weather moved in, and with it came rain and bad body aches. I've been in bed most of the day feeling like crap!

It's strange really, I don't have symptoms of anything, just a SORE body. But, experience tells me that I'll wake up feeling awful tomorrow. ...tis the season...

I never had a chance to try Warrior Plug. Good to know 3P's is the same stuff. I have a bunch of that. I like it a lot, but need to work on my plug shaving skills.

That's exactly what I had the first couple days that I had Covid this year a bit over a month back. Those body aches got worse and lasted a total of seven days for me. Never had a cough or anything respiratory. Get a Covid test somewhere. Could also be a regular flu coming on. Hopefully neither.

The only difference is the slight topping in the 3Ps but it burns about all off by about 1/4 the way in it seems. Just the same as the Yachtsman Plug I've still got a bit of too, it's just those slight toppings.

Never had a cough or anything respiratory. Get a Covid test somewhere. Could also be a regular flu coming on. Hopefully neither. I was thinking the same. I had it last year around this time. I remember day 1 being like this and day 2 feeling like I was in a vice. Luckily, it didn't last long, but I was plagued with fatigue for about a month. 2 days ago I was telling my friend that I'd rather have the flu for a month than have to deal with the body aches I had with covid. Hopefully it's just arthritis and crappy weather. That's what I'm trying to convince myself anyway. I'll have to dig a test out and hope it's not expired. I keep a few spares. Although, if it is covid, I'm just going to lay in bed and sleep anyway. A quick 1/2 bowl of Yorktown while the dog does her business between the rain showers.
