Good Morning, starting off with some Scotty's Pancake in a MM Legend with decaf. Not that I've been slacking but have been really busy the last couple days. Been leaving around 6 and getting home late. I have done more jobs the last couple days than I've done in the last few weeks.

Started the day with Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob (x2) and coffee. Out shopping for the last of the provisions we needed for the holidays with my wife. Took some Friar's Bayou and Old Gowrie along. Home now, the car's unloaded and stuff is put away. Time for some Friar's Bayou cake in the Wednesday cob.

Christmas Spice in the Grabow I cleaned up the other day. Still out by the blazing fire. The last of my logs are on.
I can still taste the Wilke Black Raspberry in this pipe, I'm not sad about that.

My first crack at 2018 Lane Andullo in a Morganton Caroler cob. This is an unusually unique blend I'd meant to get around to since it's release, and sure enough, before I could it was discontinued. It prompted Josh to send me some samples because he knew for a while I'd been wanting to try this one.
They smoke this Dominican cigar leaf after it's been fermented in bunches for two years there and from what I've heard it's sort of a treat type smoke for the initiated. Lane got a supply of it and mixed the fermented Dominican cigar leaf with what seems like nearly equal parts black cavendish that's been flavored with a tad bit of vanilla, licorice, and anissette, and then they finished it with the tiniest amount of Cyprian latakia to add a hint of bold spice and zest along with the cigar leaf. This was well done in my opinion and I can taste the fermented cigar leaf throughout but the flavorings + latakia spice make this one a treat. Wish I'd gotten some tins while it was in production. The tin art looked real slick, too.
