A little earlier, had Friar's Bayou mix in the smaller, rusticated "55". Now, Fillmore/ODF mix in the larger, smooth "55".

2012 MM965 in my BST Canadian. I think people around here haven’t forgotten that it’s still winter. People around here are talking like the sky is going to fall in when, depending on which forecast you look at, we're getting only 2 to 4” or 3 to 6”. 🤷♂️

They would sneer at that. They prefer to snowmobile as much as possible. Sas makes a great pipe, doesn't he?

I know what you mean as my mother’s side of the family is from Hancock, MI which is on that little peninsula off the UP sticking straight into Lake Superior. I live 48 miles north of Indiana and past the worst of the Lake Michigan lake effect snows at the end of a half mile long private dirt road. Here it’s just a question of whether or not to engage four wheel drive. Yes, I like my Sas pipes. I only have two; both bought in person at Chicago Shows from available pipes he had with him.

We've already got what looks like close to 2.5 inches since 8am.

We were at about 2 to 2.5” when I was out feeding the horses and brushing off my wife's vehicle at about 9am. From the forecast, it’s unclear when it will stop. Whenever it does, then it’s time to fire up the tractor and get to work with the front end loader and back blade as needed. Plus, hope that it’s not too windy to smoke a cob.

for times mentioned, little energy, now no Potassium aavailable. Did manage shorter walk earlier, Relic 5x50 for company. Brunch time next, then to the papers. Aside from visiting the ol' gals, nothing on the plan list for the day
29, to 34, lite snow on/off

Marlin Flake in the same J. Everett from earlier.
The good thing about working 30 minutes away from the nearest hardware store is I get to squeeze a few pipes in throughout the day. I just hope it doesn't turn into a 17 hour day like yesterday.

Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob. Wet, heavy snow has been falling here since about 5:00. Supposed to end up with about 6", but could be more. I think I'll go out and move what's fallen and then get the rest later.

I saw about 3 flakes last night, but we did get 1.8 inches of rain. I think that would make a foot of snow? Anyway, the pond is full to the top for the first time in 20 months. Any more and it will be in the yard. Note that the clip on wind caps work fine on a cob. I have a Mr Brog pear wood with a wind cap that works great.
