2019 Watch City Rhythm & Blues in an old Zenith Amsterdam double-walled ceramic. This picture is a bit deceiving because the bowl is huge. The diameter alone is about 1.25 inches.

Red Wine Soup in a Curtz Churchwarden (the only one in existence as far as I know). I only posted here to gather some momentum for Red Wine Soup - come on let's smoke this stuff!!!
I guess I am the only one that likes the soup. Bunch of slack jaw, hello, Jessie Ventura...

I have 3 or 4 of those. Good pipes.

Red Wine Soup in a Ben Wade Chesling pot. This pipe is my best with Virginias. It has only has Stonehaven and Penzance in it before.

My BC calabash has a large bowl and I got carried away filling it from my last smoke, which took almost two hours. I now have a bowl of John Aylesbury Summerhill in my everyday calabash that I’m just lighting.

Is that one that they've had to rename to something else?

Out and about this evening. Packed some Friar's Bayou mix and one of my rusticated billiards. Once home, I had a bowl of Pegasus in the Monday cob.

It’s a typically German aromatic, fruity with some vanilla, but the tobacco shows through.

Finding any things you want to do differently, or specific things you want to improve on? I've learned that briars smoke differently from block to block. Not necessarily relative to the cost of the block or how pretty the grain is. The current block I'm working with is 40 years old (since it was harvested). Looking forward to trying that one. As far as things that need improving, well, technique and precise execution are at the top of the list.

PS Proper English in Rusticated bent brandy work pipe. Now to figure out how to tell my wife I just bought another pipe. Any suggestions I like this method. I buy a new pipe and don't tell my wife. Weeks/months later she notices it and says "Oh, you buy a new pipe again I haven't seen that before?" To which I say, "Yeah I bought it months ago, I've had this pipe!" Mix that in with the occasional outright telling her you just ordered a new pipe to change things up.
