I need some Mylar bags and was wondering if anyone has a recommended source. I don't mind buying from Ebay, but I prefer not to buy from China, even though that is probably where they all originate. I had some 3.5 X 5 inch mylar Ziploc bags in the past, but they are a bit small.

Heavy duty or light duty? Short term storage or long term?

Heavy duty or light duty? Short term storage or long term? I would think that long term would be heat sealed instead of Ziploc? Probably light duty as it is mostly for travelling with/ sampling.

The only place that I have used it Discountmylarbags.com, but that has always been for long term storage. They have some zipper bags, and I can attest to their quality, though at 5 mil they may be a bit thick for travel and samples.

IwanReis sells some but they are a bit pricey. I have sent samples in them for years but I am about to run out. I will probably go with something different this time around. Keep us posted if you decide on something.

Those bags from Iwan Ries are nice. Pricey though.
