Part of my whole apartment destruction drama is the fact that when the idiots came in to re-spray the damaged ceilings, they did not cover anything. As a result, I've got a thin coat of popcorn ceiling on darn near everything. That includes my pipes.
Does anybody know or have a suggestion about how to remove that crud from my pipes? I've tried warm water with a bit of dish soap on some of my other things, and that didn't get it done. I know they make chemicals to remove that stuff, but I don't think I want anything that harsh on my pipes.

Plain water should do it. It's (edit) BASICALLY 🤣🤣🤣 drywall mud with foam balls. If they mixed paint with it (some do) you're going to have to scrub them.
Id file a complaint with the company. I'd fire someone for that the moment he pulled the trigger on the hopper without covering stuff.

Hmm . . . Guess I'll have to give it another try.
Not my contractor, unfortunately. Hired by the property management, and we've already established they do not care eff-all.

I'm not sure how they mixed it, or how bad the coating is, but maybe try a toothpick or a popsicle stick? It's softer wood so it "shouldn't" damage the briar.

That just adds insult to injury. Time for Vinny and No-Nose Lou to pay “somebody” a visit.

Geez, Urb. That stinks. I would try warm water and a soft toothbrush. If that doesn't work, maybe mineral oil or Murphy's oil soap. Other folks have used white vinegar to clean grime during estate restorations. I've never tried that, myself.

I already picked up a bottle of Murphy's, knowing a lot of restorers use it to clean pipes. Once my feet stop barking, I'll give some a try.

This is terrible, I feel bad for you. If that happened to me, I would be having a very difficult time containing my temper.

This is terrible, I feel bad for you. If that happened to me, I would be having a very difficult time containing my temper. I try not to let myself get emotionally entangled with things I can't do anything about. Dad told me yesterday I sure was taking all this well. I told him the insurance adjuster might not agree with him, but that hasn't gotten me anywhere, nor will it, given the legal realities, so there's no point in staying mad. I think of emotional energy like money: I've only got so much of it, so don't throw good after bad. That said, the next (and last) time I talk to the manager at my old place, it'll be overcast, with a decent chance of loud venting.

I believe there are products available to treat vaginal drywall. I've seen the ads on tv.

URB I just read how to get rid of sticker residue by putting sunscreen on it, letting it soak then wiping it right off. Maybe that would work!

I heard that if you experience foam on your balls for more than 4 hours you need to seek medical attention.

I heard it results in a 4 year old, followed by twins shortly after. 😬
Wait... what?!

Don’t know how it would be on briar, but WD40 is a pretty good “removant.”
