It appears that all major tobacco sellers will have SG Brown Sugar Flake available tomorrow, April 11. It’s been a while since I’ve seen it and I will be grabbing some. It’s usually described as a tobacco in the vein of the discontinued Orlik Dark Strong which I think is accurate, but in my opinion, a far better alternative.
This also makes me wonder if other SG blends will be restocked as well.

I just noticed an error in my original post. I meant to say Orlik Brown Sliced, not Dark Strong. When I typed it, I was considering reaching for some Dark Strong, but settled on something else.

This is one I'll probably try, if I remember to buy some before it's all gone.

*fingers crossed*
But I'd be just as happy with another box or 2 of FVF or FVP

It's under 200 now.
I'll get more through trades when people get pissed that they bought 20 tins and it doesn't taste like brown sugar. And, if I even like it.

And I cant believe TP didn't sell out already. Especially with no limits.

This is the first time I've really paid attention to them. Insomnia tonight, I need entertainment.

I wonder if it's because people will add 10 to their cart, then go to checkout, and let's say there's only 7 in the system. So then they back out and try 7, but now there's only 4. Etc.
I dunno, lol

2000 tins in just over 35 minutes.
Limited releases are money makers. Add "SG" and it's golden.

If that happened in the past, it did not happen tonight. Snagged 12 tins of tobacco that I like but do not need…. In due course it will get smoked. Make sure that you vac seal it if putting it up. 1 will get opened upon arrival. If I like it, the other 2 will go to jars immediately. If I don't, they'll get traded away just as fast.

At the end of the first hour after they went on sale, there was 14 left available. Ten minutes later, there were over 400 available. That was the second time I had seen that happen.

Actually thinking about it, making the marginally desirable (not SG) limited releases seem more scarce than they are would be good business sense. Reason to buy now.

I ordered enough from TP to get free shipping (6 tins). I have avoided all these "limited releases" for years. But as a Virginia flake lover, this looks especially interesting. I hope I am not disappointed....

I hope I am not disappointed.... Cavendish is what has me leary. For some reason it always stands out to me and ruins a blend. The only thing I smoke that has it in it is Marlin Flake, and I love that stuff. The only other limited releases I go for are Sunbear (3) and Carolina Red Flake, if they keep the perique out of it.

It has a Virginia sweetness to it. It's okay fresh but really good aged.

I started to buy a few tins and then decided to be frugal. I really do have enough flake tobacco. Probably good for the rest of my life.
