More Haunted Bookshop while finishing garage clean-out with a little yardwork sprinkled in for fun. At home now with a bowl of Old Gowrie in the Wednesday cob and a Smithwick's Irish Red to pair. Sitting in the sun of the back porch, 53 and breezy here.

I was in Taos all day. Much of it at the Dentist getting posts and medical "epoxy" in my recent Root Canal teeth. This to stabilize them as I am running out of my own teeth. Measured for crowns. I do not take a pipe and tobacco with me as I want some time away from the smoking. Naturally, I am grateful to light up when reaching home. MacBaren's HH Flake in a Peterson 307.

Good Morning! It's a chilly 35° with a clear sky here at first light and the workshop heater is running. I posted about my wife being in the hospital in the Daily Chronicle board and I'm going to visit her this afternoon to see how she's doing. I also have bunch of chores to catch up on, so I'll have a busy day. I also put in my monthly tobacco order, too. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of Limerick VA Flake in the other Savinelli Venere 128 and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket.

Started the day with Haunted Bookshop in the Thursday cob and coffee on the back porch. Tree trimmers are here today. I don't have much to do but supervise. This means many bowls of Haunted Bookshop.

Good Morning Again! It's warmed up to 49 degrees with a mostly clear and sunny sky. I finished smoking a bowl of C&D Bayou Morning Flake in the Savinelli rusticated billiard in the workshop. Now I'm back in the house getting ready to wash out a couple of skillets and run the dishwasher. And the garbage bin needs to go out to the street. And Lily's cat box needs cleaning. All in good time. This afternoon, I'll drive to the hospital and check to see how Janet's doing. I'll take along some tobacco and the MM Washington cob with an original Walker Forever Stem for the ride. Have a great day, everybody!

Good Evening! It's a cool 72° with a sunny, hazy sky out here on the deck. I swear, this is the noisiest neighborhood that I've ever lived in. It seems that everyone is obsessed with keeping their lawns mowed, so everyday at various times the sound of lawnmowers and blowers can be heard throughout the day. Anyway, I visited Janet and she's doing well although we don't know when she'll be discharged. Currently smoking a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Sav rusticated billiard and there's a glass of cold water on the side. Have a great night, everybody!

Good evening, fellows. I had a plumber come out and replace my pressure reducing valve and he discovered that my water heater had a leak. It's worn out and is situated under the house in the crawlspace. I can't replace it by myself because of my knee and my back issues, but he said it would be $2475 to replace it, which includes the new water heater. Does that sound high to you? Think I'm going to get some more estimates. Oh, and I'm smoking Carter Hall in a Dunhill Root apple.
