Good Evening! It's 85° with 50% humidity and a mostly clear sky out here on the deck. I did a few chores, picked up the wallboard hole repair stuff that I needed from Da Depot, and stayed inside the rest of the time doin' nuttin' or taking short naps. Since the All-Star game is over with, regularly scheduled baseball is back on TV and we'll watch the Guardians vs Rangers game later on after dinner. Currently smoking a bowl of Limerick VA Flake in the Mark Twain cob and there's a glass of cold water on the side. Have a relaxing night, everybody!

A little while ago I was sitting with my wife in the living room and heard the alarm going off. We looked at each other and I got up to clear it. A short while later it went off again and I called the alarm company. While on the phone with them it went off again... Now for the senior moment part. I asked the technician if she could tell me why it was going off. With that it went off again and she said to me sir, that is your smoke detector not the alarm system. Being graciously embarrassed I thanked her and pulled the battery out of the smoke detector.   ... |

Good Saturday Morning! It's a cool 68° with a clear sky here at first light. Today will be on the hot side, so I'll spend part of the afternoon inside patching sheetrock holes and doing some household chores. Starting off the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the other Savinelli Venere 128 and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table.
