I'm sure you'll all have a great burden lifted by hearing my brown-green tongue is looking a bit more normal today. I may not have Tasmanian body rot, after all. That's a relief. What do you think caused it? My best guess right now is it was the rooibos tea. I just started drinking it again when the weather turned cool, but I've never noticed it discoloring my tongue before. I plan to try a pipe later this evening. We'll see what happens.

Good Morning! It's 28° here with a clear, starry sky. This afternoon I just have to make a supermarket run, do some laundry, and then clean Lily's cat box. Oh, joy. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of fresh HH Pure VA Flake in the Savinelli Venere 128 smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one, everybody!

Last night it was 2021 Haunted Bookshop in a Mark Twain cob. This morning before work, was 2021 GH & Co. Rum Flake in a Let Freedom Ring 5th ave cob. The Rum Flake is so good I couldn’t put it down to leave for work. That happens to be the crux of my problem with smoking leading up to having to do something, be somewhere, etc. At least these days. I used to smoke on my way driving places and all the time between happenings.

Good Morning Again! It's 38° here with a clear, sunny sky. I finished up in the workshop with a bowl of Scottish Flake in the Sav smooth billiard and now I'm going to get some more sleep.

Balkan Supreme in a small acorn, with black stain over a fine blast, it's marked Capatello Bull over Standard , made in Italy. The pipe is very delicate, and light as a feather. The pipe has rested in my bedroom pipe wheel for ages without me exploring it's virtues, it's time to put the little guy to work.

No sign of more tongue discoloration after the smoke. OTOH, I can't find any documentation of rooibos tea staining anybody's tongue, either. I guess we'll see how it looks in the morning.
