Just finished some C.H./Symphony mix in last night's first bowl in the "Silver Axe", a sweet little freehand i received in the mail yesterday. I smoked as slow as I could, and enjoyed a cool, flavorful trip all the way down to the heel...wonderful, Pete, well done!

Happy Tuesday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Tuesday cob and coffee. Nothing much on the calendar today. I'll probably spend a little time in the workshop. Making jambalaya for dinner tonight. Maybe get a batch of dough ready for a loaf of sourdough.

Good Afternoon! It's 36° with on/off rain here. Heading out to the veterans clinic in a few minutes with the Mark Twain cob and HH Pure VA Flake to smoke there and back.

Started out with Haunted Bookshop in a Mark Twain cob, and then crispy leftover mix of Atalaya and Symphony in a Rob Roy cob. Will likely have some 2020 C&D Opening Night flake in a Savinelli Bing’s Favorite with green/white swirl acrylic stem after some lunch.

Drucquer and Sons, King’s Fool Flake in this custom Southern Roots cob. The tobacco was an impulse buy the other day, but so far so good!

SemPer Cav in an MM Country Gent
This was a blend made in 2015 from a crop of Semois I grew the year before with added Perique and unflavored Black Cavendish. If I recall properly, Sailor Jerry was used lightly as a casing.

That sounds pretty tasty. I do miss smoking. Doctor says it lowers the success rate of my dental implants. Not sure if that means forever or temporarily.. but, on a break nonetheless.

Probably just temporary ... fingers crossed! 🤞

I would love to have a smoke, but at 54° and dropping at the hotel, it ain’t happening.
Home tomorrow, comfy smokes in the house or under the patio heater.
