I opened my neglected desktop humidor and it was at 50% humidity yesterday, the cigar I picked smoked fine, but I have to remember to check it. Fortunately, I only have 4 cigars in it.
Going forward, I think I am just going to use my pelican case and Boveda packets, it suits my needs as it holds 20 large cigars just fine.
