Having my first pipe in several days while we're catching a break in the weather. May be the last one for a week or more if the forecast is correct. Anyway, it's Evening Flake in the Comoy's Grand Slam that Friend Gypo found me:

First day today of actually doing something for an hour. This one drained all my go juice. Not COVID. Hope to enjoy a bowl tomorrow.

Trying a new to me tobacco. Ken Byron “The Patience of Dr. Silence”. Smoking it in my Butz Choquin calabash to hopefully fully check it out. I just loaded the bowl and I’m looking forward to this, it smells wonderful in the bag.

P.S. Black Cavendish in the Hillson egg. The aroma from the jar is an outstanding vanilla, as is the room note...sadly, flavor is another story, there just isn't much to be found. whenever I run across the jar the thought of that aroma reels me in, but that's all there is...it does stay lit like a champ, for a moist tobacco, and smokes cool and slow. Coffee was used in this experiment.
