Good Saturday Morning! It's 35° here, very windy, and a snow flurry is on the way as the Arctic air begins to move into the region. Our granddaughter is coming over for a few hours before noon to help with the house cleaning and that'll be a big help to us. Getting the smoking day going with a bowl of Scottish Flake in the Upshall smooth quarter-bent Dublin with my coffee. Have a good weekend everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's right at the freezing mark, some more flurries are on the way, and the wind is howling. Now smoking a bowl of Bayou Morning Flake while sipping my coffee. Time to check the headline news.

Sterling's Bargain Blend from a long time ago, in a DGE PSD 2022 Cob. I've been working on a pound of that for a very long while. I like it, it's composed of some good stuff; makes me wish I'd tried some of Jack's regular blends.

Sutliff's Holiday Match in my A.V. Dublin, this one is a keeper, with a complex mix of tobacco flavor and only a faint topping, no goop and few relights. Check out the reviews at T.R. Those guys are better at reviews than I am, but I know when it's good... The usual morning coffee sits nearby.

When there’s more pipes on the desk than in the pipe rack it might be time to clean some! 😂 When it 28° in Bama, you know it’s cold up north! Getting the day started with a bowl of Presbyterian Melange in the Soborg Brandy Handmade Danish pipe… A large black coffee alongside…

Just another slow start to the day, Abingdon in Bosworth freehand, Coke by side. Gotta get some supplies (food) as ramping up for possible storm Sunday. Hope all having a nice weekend so far

Got home with near $200 in groceries & slowly put away, now 22, zero visability, a few vehicles can see going real slow with their 4-way flashers going. Is 10Russians in 2nd smoke of Boswwell older freehand, usual CokeClassic nearby. Good timing for a white-out now

Now some Russ's Rocking Chair in the same pipe.
That reminds me, Russ, I can't figure out what I've done with my [Russ's] Limerick Flake. I just about know I put some out in one of my little cosmetics jars for quick access, but danged if I can find it.

I must have eaten the open tin, or something. Can't find that sucker anywhere.

Friar's Bayou in a couple different pipes at son's house during sausage making festivities. When we were finished cleaning up, I started a bowl of Cringle Flake '22 in a self-made bent billiard. Still working on that one.

OGS in my Paul's Cayuga: So similar to the Shalom pipes from Israel...from briar to stem, I wonder if there was some relationship between them both? Maybe it was just a great shape that produced great results.

I spent the entire evening installing a ceiling fan for a friend. The instructions for assembly were wrong so I ended up putting it together and taking it back apart three times before I got it right, then installed it only to find out it was faulty. I’m finally back home with a nice bourbon and a large bowl of HH Old Dark Fired in my BC calabash. These are the times that a pipe can wash away a day of frustration
