OGS and LBF are pretty darn mild, but they're Virginias, which I know give you problems. Trying to think of a mild Latakia or burley flake. I'm coming up blank. I know C&D makes a series of burley flakes, but I can't vouch for any of them. Maybe others can. Brunello Flake is fantastic and mild. There is a vanilla flake. But I can't remember the manufacturer at the moment. It's common and very good too.

I think I actually included some Brunello Flake in a package I sent him a while back. I sent a variety of mild Virginias, so I can't remember for sure, but I think Brunello was in there.

Yep, Brunello and Macbarens Vanilla Flake are Virginias , and I don't like Virginias, but I did like those. Maybe because they had flavor added. It's just straight Virginia that I don't like. But if he has already tried the Brunello and rejected it, the only difference is that the Macbarens has Cavendish. I like Firedance Flake, and I find it to be relatively mild, but it has a lot of flavor. I also have a kilo of it.

I also find best Best Brown Flake, but it has a lot more flavor than most straight Virginias.

The C&D burley flakes for someone that smokes only Z92, should be considered VERY high in nicotine blends. #1 & 3 would make Haunted Bookshop seem like Prince Albert.

This evening I’ve been smoking a just finished blend I made myself, though I can’t take credit for the recipe, comprised primarily of Prelip, Virginia, Dark Air Cured, Perique and a wonderful Burley Red Tip. I will continue to smoke it for the rest of this evening I’m sure, it turned out fantastic.

Hey John, it’s a pre Stanwell going out of business Hans Christian Andersen. Not sure of the age, 1990’s maybe? Outstanding smoker!

Good morning fellow pipers. First cup of espresso and a pipe full of Piccadilly got the fireplace going as the morning is a little cool here on the gulf coast. Have a joy filled day.
