I was in the chat with him last night and he was planning on getting a ride to go pick up his truck and take it to get inspected, etc., today, which sounded like it would take a good part of the day, but it is odd that we didn't hear from him this morning or this evening. Hmmm. Hopefully just another computer problem. Happens to him from time to time.

Good Morning! It's 45° here with a clear sky right now. Nothing much on The List, so I'm going to call my niece this afternoon and catch up on things. Starting off the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Don Carlos smooth bent Two Note and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's 44° now with some clouds moving in. Currently smoking a bowl of Straight Grain Flake in the Don Carlos. I have enough of this for one more bowl before popping open a tin of Bayou Morning Flake. Time to check the headline news and sip some more coffee.

I managed to get a 2oz can last year, have it cellared up to get some age on it ( dated Oct 23),i love VaPers blends, and believe this one packs a punch with Perique.

I find BMF to be a rich, medium-bodied smoke with just enough Perique to deepen the flavor but not dominate it. I prefer it to the regular Bayou Morning.

It looks like a nice pipe, with interesting colors. What takes it out of your wheelhouse? I have a few that don't look traditional, but I really like them. Chunky, heavy.... I smoke a lot of pipes with clean lines. Nothing against this shape, it smokes better than some pipes I have with cleaner lines. I guess I don't object to big heavy pipes because I don't clench and I am always sitting down when I have a smoke. I have light, trim and elegant pipes, but they don't match me.

Good Afternoon! It's 64°, breezy, and sunny out here on the deck. Taking a break and smoking a bowl of Scottish Flake in the Mark Twain Co with a forever stem. Listening to streaming jazz from CalState Long Beach with a glass of cold water on the side.

Hmm. I thought I had his phone number but can't seem to find it. I sent an email, but obviously if he's having computer/internet issues that isn't going to work, either.
