Sneaking in a quick bowl to keep me awake while I read... A mixture of remnants from the day jar of Prince Andrew and added a little Flying Dutchman Match in a MM Legend... A large black coffee on the side.. I wish I could find something a wee bit stronger to help stay awake... Be back later... Skip out of Deuteronomy and read some Acts and Revelation, with a side of Song of Solomon. Then walk around the block and smoke a bowl. Everything will look new. I like the way you think Ron. Revelation is what Hollywood uses for their inspiration. I get inspired by it for a more positive experience. As for the walking round the block, that will be a limp... maybe I can make it to the corner...

Interesting pipe Ted, about how old is it? Is it a Stanwell? Hey John, it’s a pre Stanwell going out of business Hans Christian Andersen. Not sure of the age, 1990’s maybe? Outstanding smoker! 👍🏻👨🏻🦳👌

This is one pipe I have that has a beautiful patina to that makes it special.

Good Morning! It's 49°, breezy, cloudy, damp, and everything is wet here from overnight rain. This afternoon I'll have to make a supermarket run and stop at the pet supply store. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Savinelli Venere 128 rusticated billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's 44°, still cloudy, and damp here at first light. By tomorrow at this time the temperature will be around freezing as the cold front settles in. About to light up a bowl of Scottish Flake in the Sav rusticated billiard, sip my coffee, and check the headline news. A happy Friday to all!

Happy Friday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Friday cob and coffee. 47 and mostly cloudy, but dry. Today, I'll be making dough for a couple loaves of Guinness sourdough rye and a loaf of soda bread. Dinner will be pasta Carbonara.

It's just that it always looks like it's happening again. We just saw a big play based on Esther. I had no idea how inspiring her life was.

I had a disappointing start to my smoking today. In keeping with wanting to get out of my pipe rut, it crossed my mind that I haven’t been smoking any clays for at least three years and I had bought one just before I set them aside that looked really fun. So I decided to get that one out and fire it up. I got it out of the box and set it down next to me while I put the box back and it slipped and fell about a foot, but that was all it took. I could have grabbed another clay, but I was annoyed, so I grabbed this Butz Choquin Chambord. Needs a bit of a polish on the silver and Cumberland stem (which I’ve always liked on a pipe) but otherwise it was ready to go. I’m smoking Royal Yacht in it and have been this afternoon.
