Captain Black Royal in one of a matched of bent apples from Molina. Sometime back in the 1980s, my wife got hold of a Thompson Cigar catalog, and sent for a rusticated apple for my birthday, that was in June; in August another one came in for our Anniversary, she must be an apple kinda gal. One has a smooth rim, and the other Rusticated, both do their job well, I just don't reach for them very often.

OGS in the new Baskerville: Now that is one handsome, beefy looking pipe...how does it smoke? So far, so good. Nice deep bowl to hold plenty of whatever I'm smoking. It's a bit heavy, but the full bend helps some with that, and I'm trying to do less clenching, anyway. Nice, clean airway, etc. I got no complaints.

OGS in the new Baskerville: That’s a beauty. I have the Mycroft from that series. I love the shape, but I’m not a p-lip fan so it doesn’t get as much use as it deserves. I’ll need to change that and smoke it more. I like the Mycroft shape, too. I can't say I much notice the P-lip, other than feeling different in my teeth.

Out with the family tonight to celebrate SILs birthday. His folks are in town. Had a good time. Friar's Bayou in a self-made, rusticated Dublin for company. Now, in my chair, Haunted Bookshop in the Saturday cob.

Good Sunday Morning! It's 46° here with a partly cloudy sky. I took care of my small chores yesterday and, oh boy, I get to rearrange furniture this afternoon. Starting off the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Savinelli Venere 128 smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's now 45° with a still partly cloudy sky here in the neighborhood. I just lit up a bowl of Limerick Flake in the Savinelli smooth billiard. There's enough left for one more bowl and, although I have four tins in the cellar, I'll just leave them to age. Time to slowly sip my coffee and check the headline news.

Smoking a bowl of Peterson Flake in the Sav smooth billiard while sipping my coffee and watching a streaming video on BritBox. I'll finish up this pipe and then head back to the house.

Good Sunday morning. I’m smoking a bowl of 2021 Union Square in a Sherlock Holmes Mycroft. It’s a beauty of a day to start with bright sun and soft breeze. We’re having some friends by this afternoon so I’m getting my smoking day started early. I hope you all have a good one.

Happy Sunday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob and coffee on the front porch. It's 68, sunny and very breezy here.
