Good Morning! It's 49° and damp with some rain on the way here in our neighborhood. I'm up early again after my usual four hours of sleep. It's looking pretty dicey for eclipse viewing where we are, but maybe we'll get a break in the cloudiness. At any rate, we'll get to experience that eerie quiet and darkening of the sky. Starting off the smoking day with a bowl of Peterson Flake in the Savinelli Venere 128 rusticated billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Just lit up a bowl of GLP Fillmore in the Sav rusticated billiard while sipping the rest of my coffee and watching a pretty bad horror movie, the 1957 "The Man Who Turned to Stone". I'll finish up this pipe and then head back to the house.

Seems as though my two go-to tobaccos are Captain Black Original and Peter Stokkebye 52 Proper English. The 52 is in the Stanwell 32 bulldog right now. It looks like we're going to be cloudy and rainy here too. At least I have the appropriate eyewear in case the eclipse is able to be seen this afternoon.

Good morning and Happy Monday (and eclipse day). Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Monday cob and coffee. Depending on which weather forecast you read, we'll have a decent chance at seeing the eclipse here. We're at 99% and change of totality. We'll be on the back porch with our eclipse glasses if the cloud cover allows.

Looking decent from looking at the satellite infrared images. We’re about 30 miles east from Fort Wayne off US30. |
