I bet Jim has seen this one. Funny how they list Quinn as the star. Conrad is definitely the star of this one. Anyone could have played Quinn's role if you ask me.

As a young boy, we had the only radio on the block, neighbors came on porch to listen to Gunsmoke, what a voice Conrad had. Big Man, Big Presence.

This thread is without a doubt catnip for our esteemed colleague JimInks.

And I'm going to start using the word catnip on a regular basis.

I've seen the movie a couple of times. It's slow in a few places, but it's still worth watching. Lately, it's been showing on Encore Westerns channel.

It is definitely more of a character study style of movie. It reminds me a little of 3:10 to Yuma. The original of course. That is a great one. I am not a spaghetti western fan anymore. Loved 'em when I was young, but now I find them to be too silly.
