Time to indulge in a bowl of Sir Walter Raleigh Regular before bedding down. Pipe utilized is a Bulldog, model 32 by Stanwell.

Good Wednesday morning to all of the Patch, and greetings to the month of May, which has started off gloriously, here in the Irish North West. Still have a sick little doggie, but I believe he's on the mend, bit more lively than yesterday. Starting the day and the month off, with some EM in the no-name bent pot. Wishing you all a great month ahead, and a great day.

Good Morning and Welcome to May! Thanks for starting the new month of WAYS, Pete. It's 47° here with a clear sky and moonlight. Just some laundry to do this afternoon. Getting the smoking day going with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Savinelli Venere 128 smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's a chilly 46° with a clear sky as the sun rises from behind the neighborhood trees here. Currently smoking a bowl of Fillmore in the Sav smooth billiard while slowly sipping my coffee. Time to check the headline news.

Happy Wednesday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob and coffee on the front porch. It's 61 with sun and clouds here. We may be in for a couple showers today. In no hurry to get anything done.

I’m back to smoking my Rougaroux/DAC/Krumovgrad blend in a Karlheinz Joura. I’ve been away from it for a week or so and I realize that I’ve been missing the DAC with everything else I’ve been smoking. I’m going to blend up a big new batch of it tonight.

Back on the front porch. Tended a small, neglected landscape bed on the side of the house. Now, with a Bell's Two Hearted Ale next to me, I'm smoking some Friar's Bayou Cake ( This blend is very nice in cake-form. Brings out the spice in the Perique) in the Wednesday cob. Definitely finished working for today.

Good Evening! It's 79° out here on the deck as large, white, clouds float along. Just lit up a bowl of Wessex Brigade Campaign Dark Flake in the MM Mark Twain cob with a long Vermont Freehand Forever Stem and there's a glass of cold water on the side. Have a great night everybody!

Found a jar of Silver Strike Cake, that I did over the winter and forgot about. Having some in a self-made, rusticated "55". Tasty!

Okay, so I'm having one pipe. The skeeters are noticeably friskier with no smoke in the air. I'm guessing it interferes with the CO2 detection, somewhat. Anyway, I'm having OGS in the little Dunnie Chestnut 101:

Chenets cake!
Really liking this 10 year old tin. It fits well in the current environment, plenty of horsepower.
