Just lit up a bowl of Wessex Brigade Campaign Dark Flake in the Sav smooth billiard while sipping my coffee and watching the famous 1951 sci-fi movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still".

Good morning all, I’ve packed a Peterson bent spigot billiard with Peretti Cuban mixture. The weather here is dull, gray and mild. I’m looking forward to the weekend, I hope your day is good!

Good Friday morning to all of the Patch, it's another fine morning here, but rainclouds are approaching, no mind I'm on the bench today. Having a bowl of Irish Flake, in the Mr. Brog Grecce; it's my 'get up n go' blend lately. Large mug of freshly brewed coffee to pair. Hope you all have a great day friends, and weekend ahead. Oh my. It's the weekend again,,, this year is already whizzing by. 😳 I have that same Mr Brog shape, except mines in pear wood. That's a great budget pipe line that we forget about. I have about 7, but I haven't smoked one in years once they are broken in, they are no different than briar. Besides the pear and briar, they also make morta pipes that are excellent.

Happy afternoon, rounding out the day with some Atalaya in my Peterson semi-churchwarden Dublin. My wife has been on a trip with her sister and two friends, but she’ll be home Monday. I miss her but have a lot of house chores to keep me busy this weekend and the two pups to keep me company. Weather turned fine this afternoon but were due for more rain tomorrow. It’s been a pretty drizzly May, even for these parts. No doubt I’ll be complaining about the heat before long. Enjoy your Friday!

A member of our pipe club that I had not seen in quite awhile showed up at the meeting with several tins of tobaccos that he is not smoking and giving away mostly all McClelland's and heavy on the frog. This tin caught my eye, I always wanted to try it and it really is great. It will probably be my first and last tin...this one is from 2008.
