These are the front windows plants. The big lillys are Belladonna Lillys. A type of Amaryllis. We just found this out today. Luckily the dog shows zero interest. And a couple of orchids. She has good luck growing orchids. ![](https://i.postimg.cc/KZrKf2Rx/20240503-210018-copy-1598x1126.jpg)

I don't know much about flowers, but those sure look pretty.

I think so. I have kind of absorbed what most of them are by osmosis. She spends a lot of time on them, but I have to admit it's nice to have them.

And it keeps her out of trouble. You'd think! 😁 She has really mellowed since she got past 65. Still likely to yank my pants off at any moment without warning.

Another gifted person! We have a hard time growing cactus with our brown thumbs. It takes dirt and water. Something that is short supply in Pho-enix

The wife had a great spring for her flowers this year. I have more pictures for flowers that bloomed later that I haven't gotten around to posting. You must be a flower fanatic like her to identify that one.

I look forward to seeing them, should you decide to post some. I recently moved into an apartment in town, which is quite a change from my home. I go outside to smoke on my patio surrounded by concrete, rather than spending an hour or more a day working on and enjoying my garden~beds.

I recently moved into an apartment in town, which is quite a change from my home. I go outside to smoke on my patio surrounded by concrete, rather than spending an hour or more a day working on and enjoying my garden~beds. I've only had to live in an apartment for a couple of years in my life. For the last 46 years we've lived in 4 different houses and the wife has had a different blend of plants at each. I contributed in the first 2 houses. I grew roses in the first place and in the second, there was a neighborhood tradition of planting pansies every fall and replacing them with impatiens in the spring. Then I went from printing to IT and worked too many hours to fool with it. Do you have a space where you can do container planting?

![](https://i.postimg.cc/5txmhPrS/IMG-9756.jpg) Off my porch, bees are buzzing. Beautiful! We have 6 crepe myrtles and they rarely bloom because they are in the shade of the bigger trees. Abandoned house next door has a 40 foot white crepe myrtle that blooms great, but not every year. It's in partial shade from the 80 foot live oak.
