Yesterday's smoking digest AM: None. I slept in and then went hiking Happy Hour: Haunted Bookshop in the Savinelli 123 Late Night: Pressed 2010 OJK in the Rossi 8334 Beautiful today here in Denver. Nice rain and nearly cold yesterday. Cleaned out the wildfire air. Today bright sunny and a nice cool breeze. Heading out soon for a homebrew of Two Timer and unflavored Green River cav (pressed) + Dark Fired, mature red VA+ Perique, most likely in the Savinelli 123. Went with the trusty Bari pot/billiard instead. Delicious well behaved smoke.

Done working in the yard for the day. Having a bowl of Friar's Bayou in the barrel-shaped meerschaum on the side patio under the trees.

Good Evening! It's a comfortable 74°, breezy with some big clouds passing through, and sunny out here on the deck. I've managed to successfully do nothing today except watch the Yankees beat the Astros and eat a bit. Smoking a bowl of Scottish Flake in the Stanwell 29 smooth billiard while listening to streaming rock oldies and there's a glass of cold water on the side. Have a great night everybody!

Fribourg & Treyer Special Brown Flake has been on my mind for about a week now, so I finally pulled some out and I’m smoking it folded, in a BC calabash.

Got myself cleaned up. Going out for dinner with son and his fiancée. In the meantime, I'm having a bowl of McConnell Barking Road in a self-made, smooth 55-style pot.

Looking at Radice, too.

Opened my second tin of Steamworks from the 2023 release and it was full of mold like the first one.
Going for 2020 Laurel Heights again in the new Vacher Pipes long sandblasted apple. Really looked forward after a year of waiting, to opening that Steamworks at the NASPC show.

No, technically SmokingPipes was, but the show ended at 5 and we just stay here through Sunday. They will replace the tin, regardless.

Yeah, it happens. I smoked a few bowls of the first tin last summer before it overgrew fully with mold. This second was already full of fluffy white mold. I think i have one more tin from last year and the tins I bought this year.

Too many aged blends to mention… chillin after an Arizona Pipe Club meeting.
Like dining for free at a fine seafood restaurant.

Last pipe of the day was Black Virginia made by (not for) Rattray’s from a tin generously shared by Nate King in my Italian Stanwell Royal Guard 56 Canadian.

Now it is made for Rattray's by K&K in Germany.
