Good Sunday Morning! It's 55° with a cloudy sky here at dawn. This afternoon I have to make a supermarket and pharmacy run. My first pipe of the day is HH Pure VA Flake in the Peterson Rosslare 106 smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath the fleece blanket. Have a good one everybody!

Smoking some more Prince Albert in my pauls cayuga pipe. This can is 43 years old and it's smoking great. It had an insert in the top advertising a briar pipe and it said 1981 on it.

It's a beautiful morning here right now; the neighborhood is quiet, the sky is clearer, and bright sunshine is streaming through the trees. I just lit up a bowl of fresh Bayou Morning Flake in the MM Mark Twain cob and sipping some more coffee. Time to check the headline news.

Happy Sunday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob and coffee on the front porch. It's 65, sunny and breezy here. Only supposed to get to the mid-70s. We'll be going to a cookout at our son's future father-in-law's house this afternoon.

Good Morning Again! It's 69° with a light breeze, some clouds passing by, and warm sunshine out here on the deck. A very nice day so far. Smoking another bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the MM Washington 5th Avenue cob and there's a bit of leftover coffee in the mug.

Just lit up a bowl of fresh Scottish Flake in the Kaywoodie Relief Grain apple. Listening to soft streaming music and getting ready to read a bit. A glass of cold water accompanies.

Smoking Frog Morton on the Town 2006, in what I think is a Frankinpipe. The stummel is a lovely old Kaywoodie pot , marked Hand Made, with a word I can't make out under that, and below that Kaywoodie...the screw in stem has the old 4 hole stinger, and while it is a kaywoodie stem, it appears too short for the pipe{ there's a bit of charm here, as the pipe ends up about 4 inches long} while the bowl sports carving much like the Custombuilt plier marks. This one came to me from an old friend who's no longer with us, making it all the more special...Maxwell House was used in this experiment.

No lattice billiards without pics! I got to see it and it's one of the nicest lattice meerschaum I've seen so far. He got it for a steal I had a really nice lattice billiard that I gave to that idiot from Montreal who right after got PO'd over nothing and left in a huff. Besides the 2 pipes, the shipping cost a small fortune. And now I miss the pipe.

I’ve been in a mood to dig through my cellar. Today I pulled out SG Best Brown Flake that’s been jarred since 2012.

Smoking G&H dark birdseye in the mystery prince with the skeleton key stamp. Hoping someone at the Vegas pipe show can recognize who the carver is.

Friar's Bayou in a self-made slightly bent billiard while enjoying ourselves with the future in-laws. Gonna have a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob on the back porch.

My first try of Fróstika 1800, in a clay bulldog. It’s 50% straight rustica, and 50% Sutliff Very Mint. No other produced blends yet have more than 5% rustica as it doesn’t burn very well. Eugene signed every one of my various Greywoodie Show tins.
