What was taking you to Stockholm so often? (And don't say "an airplane".) Company HQ visits. From 2003 to 2006, I was the technical half of the US based sales team for a small Stockholm based networking start up. From 2007 to 2014, I did the same for another Stockholm start up which had a couple people from the first company as founders. In 2014, got acquired by a Fortune 100 corporation. Stayed on but moved from Sales to Product Management. The product I manage is the product from the startup and engineering is still in Stockholm. I lost count at 50 for the number of times that I’ve been there. PS- The airplane beat walking. 🤪 PPS- There some clues in there as to why I am able to have the pipe collection that I do. 😎

Good Morning! It's 61° with a partly clear sky here before first light. I've been struggling with increased spinal pain recently so I'm going to take it easy this afternoon. The smoking day has begun with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Don Carlos smooth bent Two Note and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good one everybody!

Good morning, I’m smoking another bowl of Peretti #52 in a Peterson bulldog. So far the weather’s been pleasant but we have rain expected to work in over the evening. The tide’s coming in and the eagles are fishing along the shore, so I have some live entertainment to go along with the pipe. I hope you all have a good weekend!

Happy Friday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Friday cob and coffee on the front porch. It's 70, cloudy and breezy here. Had some rain early this morning. Got some housekeeping to do today.

Good Afternoon! It's 82°, cloudy, and breezy out here on the deck. We may have a thunderstorm pass by later on, so I thought that a pipe would be in order beforehand. Smoking a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in a small MM Missouri Pride cob while listening to streaming smooth jazz. There's a glass of cold water on the side.

Rattray's Red Rapparee followed by McClelland 221b Series Arcadia followed by more Red Rapparee. These two are similar in many ways but RRR gets the nod from me.
