Troost Slices in my Tonni Nielsen bamboo smooth Billiard. Any idea how Tonni is doing? I know his wife passed away in the not too distant past. His work is stellar, and your two pipes there put an exclamation mark.

Good Morning! It's 36° here with a clear, starry sky and the workshop heater is warming up the place. Nothing much planned for today so I'll catch up on the laundry and just putter around. Starting off the smoking day with a bowl of fresh HH Pure VA Flake in the Peterson Rosslare 106 smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Happy Friday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Friday cob and coffee. It's 53 and mostly sunny here. I'll get the rest of those branches cut up today. The rest of the day is pretty much tbd.

Troost Slices in my Tonni Nielsen bamboo smooth Billiard. Any idea how Tonni is doing? I know his wife passed away in the not too distant past. His work is stellar, and your two pipes there put an exclamation mark. I don’t know. He’s still in Kentucky and making pipes based on SP having three new ones. When I first saw these two on the estate dealer’s table in Columbus, I thought they were Eltangs until I picked them up and looked at the stampings. They make a great pair and are great to smoke.

Good Afternoon! It's 62°, with a clear sky, bright sunshine, and breezy out here on the deck. Smoking a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the MM Mark Twain cob with a glass of water on the side. I'm just going to sit, enjoy my pipe, and the sunshine.

Doing the same here, Russ. It's 58, sunny with an intermittent breeze. Friar's Bayou in the Friday cob and a mugga tea.

Haunted Bookshop in the barrel-shaped meerschaum on the back porch. The sun is sinking towards the horizon, so I put on a jacket. Looking at all the leaves that I managed to ignore today.

He is a nice guy, and cut his teeth with a remarkable group of guys at the WO Larsen factory. I talked to him twice at pipe shows, a really nice guy and his wife was a sweetie. He had a briar calabash that took my breath away, the amount of birdsey was insane. Noticeably absent in Vegas this year, I was hoping to see him.

Newminster 400 Superior Navy Flake (2017) in a John Adams Meer gifted by the kids a few years back. This is a really nice smoke, no chance of tongue bite from it being aged, even fresh, I recommend it. Every problem is an opportunity in disguise. ~ John Adams

I haven’t smoked a pipe today. Yesterday I moved some things I was given out of a really moldy area in someone’s basement and starting last night, my sinuses feel like I held my head over a barrel of acid and took deep breaths. Just hoping this clears up soon.

Get well soon.
