Had to get up early to help m'lady load the car with her basket weaving materials, so I'm helping myself to a bowl of P&W #515 in a 1998 smooth straight Butz-Choquin Bistro 1501 pot with a black vulcanite stem. A cup of Maxwell House, neat, is my drink.

69F and sunny, expected high of 87F. Happy Preakness Day. Pimlico is possibly on the chopping block as the middle leg of the Triple Crown. Estimates to upgrade Pimlico are pretty crazy and funds may not be available. Laurel Park appears to be the future of Maryland thoroughbred racing and Monmouth is a world class facility just up the coast. Days for Pimlico look numbered. Starting off with McClelland #2020 in a smooth, paneled SMS meerschaum, drinking A&W Root Beer 10 and listening to the Preakness edition of Horse Racing Radio Network this morning. I'd probably cellar more of this one if I were starting over. For that matter, I could probably survive on this one, #5100 and #2015 just fine.

What's your initial take on this one Peter? It sold out relatively quickly and I wasn't fast enough to score any. How's it rate?

Almost half way through this bowl of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. Molly will often hide in this bag and wait for someone or something to go by so she can stealthly pounce on them. Suzy came over to me to get attention, and Molly reached out to grab her tail. When Suzy ignored her, Molly jumped on her back while inside the bag and the fight began.

Loading up a bowl of Uhle's #300 in an MM Country Gent, drinking ice tea with lemon. Horse Racing Radio Network just picked up coverage of Preakness Day at Pimlico. By the way, Colorado Rockies only have a +19 runs scored vs scored against so pretty amazing they're doing as well thus far.

How's it rate? ...Very Impressed...Quickly became a favorite...4 star rating in my Tobacco Reviews post...a high quality straight Virginia! Cool beans, greatly appreciated. I think there will be more of this one available but those of us not fast enough will have to wait. Smoking 2011 Mac Baren Va #1 in a smooth James Upshall Tilshead Canadian, drinking ice tea with lemon and winding down today. Greet win by Cloud Computing in the Preakness, overcame some problems but still prevailed - Outstanding.
