C&D Winchester is a MM Freehand cob. Whenever I smoke this a faint hint of something shows up in both the room note and the taste. For the longest time I couldn't place it. I recognized it and knew it as a familiar smell but never could place it. I also knew I had never tasted it before. Sounds crazy I know but today I figured out that it is vanilla extract. Must be the cavendish.

I just finished a great pasta marinara dinner and my smoke is ERR vintage 1945 in a KB&B Monterey Carburetor Bent Billiard sold as a Dad's Pipe in 1947. This is quite a wonderful combo.

Friday night at long last! I'm kicking this weekend off with some Cob Plug sent by Sammy (sjmiller) in an MM Mark Twain with some Lagunitas IPA on the side. Just finished up some leftover BBQ chicken and pasta salad and the Cob Plug is a nice after dinner smoke.

Good Morning.
I am starting the day with GH Bob's Square Cut from 2011 in a E. Wilke NYC Bulldog with black Burundi Buzirahguhindwa coffee. I have no idea how to pronounce that coffee but it is fantastic.
It's a pretty morning here in NJ and it seems Summer type weather might finally be arriving.
Have a great day and enjoy them smokes.
