Sitting with the Beagle, Cricket on the patio. A savinelli tundra bent brandy full of Dunhill flake and a cold Corona. Yeah, you say that, but we're having another thunderstorm here in North Carolina. How do you explain that, Mssr. Rain in the Face? Almost half way through this bowl of Watch City Old Dominion in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem.

Oh heck Jim that's my little brother Bubba. Throw him a little Turkish and a couple pipi cleaners and he go away. Dunhill flake again in my favorite pipe the Cala-Dog. Woodford reserve.

For some reason, about once a week for the past couple of months I suffer from insomnia. Not able to get to sleep before five or six in the morning. As you may have guessed, tonight is one of those nights. Just cleaned a few pipes and am now smoking Louisiana Red in a Rattray's Tricky Ricky.

I have to smoke outside or with a window open and fan running, and the weather is too hot and humid to have the windows open or sit out in the evening. I may try sitting out in the morning as long as the humidity doesn't mae it difficult to keep my pipe lit. I may have to start visiting my B&M to smoke in their air conditioned lounge
