Last smoke of the day is Granger in a black 1980 sandblasted Peterson Premiere 01 medium bend apple with a black vulcanite stem and p-lip. Reading baseball box scores while this smoke lasts. Must be a typo Jim, 01 is a bent pot, 02 is a bent apple, usually XL02. I am now puffing the bottom of a bowl of Low Country nat. Va.& Burley in a Peterson Kapp Royal XL02, bent apple.(2016) Soon to load the Peterson: Silver Mounted Sherlock Army (01) Fishtail(2017) HAPPY PUFFING!It is a 01, but I should have written "pot" instead of "apple". Just finishing this bowl of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem.

Just back from a quick trip to Georgia to pick up a motorcycle trailer. Don't nobody ever tell me that Houston is hot and humid! Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, and Louisiana all have us beat. And I will take our mosquitoes over the biting gnats any day! 😨 Just for my first bowl in 4 days, P&W #515 in a Basil Meadows Merchant Marine Bing with an aluminum band and a Cumberland stem.

The above post was made at the end of that pipe full. Matter of fact, the baccy was gone before the end of typing of the post.
I now have C&D's Crooner in a Peterson: Donegal Rocky (XL339) Fishtail . I believe the rustication of Peterson pipes are now done by machine, not by hand. This pipe is of the older style rustication. another possibility is the rustication style has been simplified, to make it quicker.
It's big Ol' good smoker.
